Murder in the Building (2026)

Misanthropic novelist François crafts compelling crime novels—often described as “Agatha Christie meets The Scarlet Pimpernel”—but beyond the adventurous world of his Marquis la Rose series, his own life is quite dull. His partner, Colette, a professor at the Sorbonne and a renowned Hitchcock scholar, grows weary of François’s habit of lounging around their apartment in pajamas, longing for the excitement and glamour she admires in the classic films she teaches. When Colette suspects their eccentric actor neighbor of murdering his wife, their ordinary routine is suddenly disrupted.
