Carnival Is Over (2025)

Regina and Valerio are a passionate and joyful couple, leisurely savoring their wealth in a lavish villa perched atop the hills of Rio de Janeiro. Following the passing of Valerio’s father, the city’s most notorious mob boss, they are eager to break free from the dangerous criminal world that surrounds them. However, Valerio’s uncle, Linduarte, demands that he take up the family mantle. One evening, while trying to convince Linduarte otherwise, an unintended tragedy occurs—they accidentally kill him. This event plunges them into a relentless cycle of violence, dragging them down the very path they had hoped to avoid.
