The Beast Hand (2024)

Osamu Kogure is a young man recently released from prison, struggling to survive in poverty while living in an abandoned house and taking on various odd jobs. His difficult life takes a darker turn when his abusive former prison senior, Inui, appears and starts to intimidate him. Under Inui's pressure, Osamu reveals the whereabouts of his ex-girlfriend, Koyuki, who is then kidnapped, assaulted, and abused by Inui. During a botched robbery planned by Inui, Osamu suffers a severe injury, losing his left arm. Desperate, Koyuki brings him to a doctor connected to the yakuza, who administers an experimental treatment that regenerates Osamu’s arm, transforming it into a monstrous beast-like limb that causes him to lose control. Despite their traumatic past, Osamu and Koyuki attempt to rebuild their lives together, but they find that their history continues to haunt them.
