Palestine 36 (2025)

In 1936, as villages throughout Palestine erupt in rebellion against British colonial control, Yusuf finds himself caught between the tranquility of his rural hometown and the turbulent atmosphere of Jerusalem, yearning for a peaceful future amid escalating conflict. However, the forces of history are unforgiving. The influx of Jewish immigrants fleeing antisemitism in Europe, some driven by controversial Zionist-colonial goals, intensifies tensions. Meanwhile, the Palestinian community unites in the most extensive and prolonged revolt against Britain’s three decades of rule. These mounting pressures push all parties toward an unavoidable confrontation, marking a pivotal turning point for the British Empire and shaping the destiny of the entire region.
