Set in the early 1990s, 13-year-old Karolína, a talented young singer, is offered the opportunity to join a renowned international girls’ choir. She finds herself alongside her older sister and various competitors within the group. It becomes clear that Karolína’s remarkable vocal abilities have captured the interest of the respected and intimidating choirmaster. This gripping psychological drama evokes memories of the infamous Bambini di Praga case, as well as other harrowing stories where innocence confronts oppressive authority.
