Crypto Man (2025)

Ok-ja and her son Do-hyun, despite their financial struggles, fraudulently register their residence in Daechi-dong, Seoul, aiming to access better educational opportunities. Jealous of his affluent classmate Sang-su, who receives disability benefits, Do-hyun discovers that Sang-su is not truly disabled, revealing significant loopholes in government welfare programs. Later at university, Do-hyun teams up with his friend Ji-woo to cleverly exploit government entrepreneurship subsidies by deliberately failing projects to benefit from policy leniency. Driven by the desire for greater wealth, Do-hyun partners with an investor named Kevin in a questionable cryptocurrency scheme, excluding Ji-woo from the venture. Initially, they experience quick financial gains, but their risky operations eventually collapse under regulatory pressure. Their attempt to generate larger profits through increasingly risky ventures ultimately backfires, turning their pursuit of wealth into a disastrous "Death Business."
