As the new academic year kicks off at Clearwater High, shapeshifter Carag and his friends—Brandon, Holly, and Lou—prepare for the challenges ahead. However, a crucial decision looms: the Woodwalker Council must determine whether Andrew Milling, Carag's mentor and the protector of the school, is responsible for attacking humans. Carag faces a difficult choice.
