Meadowlarks (2025)

The movie chronicles the journey of four Cree siblings—Connie, Marianne, Gwen, and Anthony—who were separated as infants during Canada’s infamous Sixties Scoop, a dark chapter in history where Indigenous children were removed from their families and placed into white adoptive homes. Filled with a mix of excitement, curiosity, and anxiety about potential rejection, the siblings decide to reunite for the first time during a holiday weekend set amidst the scenic mountains of Banff.
