Founded in 1931, it was situated in the Karagandy Region of Kazakhstan. This film aims to depict the severe hardships endured by inmates during the 1930s to 1950s, highlighting the unwavering resilience of human dignity amidst relentless daily struggles for survival. To authentically recreate the camp’s environment, detailed costumes, props, and set designs will be crafted based on thorough research conducted through archives and museum collections, immersing viewers in the stark reality of Karlag’s history.
