Jeannie is a troubled 17-year-old girl from West L.A., grappling with her identity as a closeted teenager. Struggling with school pressures, friendships, her first romantic relationship with another girl, and the tension between her divorced, constantly arguing parents, Jeannie feels overwhelmed. Seeking balance, she buys a Native American pendant believed to bring positive energy. However, the pendant unexpectedly causes a supernatural event, transferring the spirits of her deceased parents into her body, complicating her life even further.
